Health Care

Providing free medical treatment, health camps, and wellness programs to ensure better health outcomes for tribal populations.

Free Healthcare For Tribal Communities

Many tribals living in rural areas are economically weak and thus can't afford proper healthcare services. In case of emergency they can't hire an ambulance as they are in a dilemma — if they pay for the ambulance bill then how will they pay the doctor's fees, medicine bills and diagnosis fees.

We are fortunate that ONGC has come forward and donated an ambulance as part of their CSR activities, which is now providing free services to patients in Purulia district of West Bengal, which is a tribal dominated area.

ONGC CSR — Free Ambulance Service

The ONGC CSR team from Kolkata visited our project location for need assessment and due diligence before coming to the conclusion that there is a need for free ambulance service in the rural areas of Purulia. This year on ONGC CSR day they handed over the ambulance to India Tribal Care Trust.
